In May of 2020, BSD Fabrication and Works LLC was officially established as an independent full-service machine, welding, fabrication and gunsmithing business. Brice De La Cerda is the owner and operator of BSD Fabrication and Works LLC Starting out his professional career as a race mechanic with a passion for automobile tuning/ modification, new and developing interests evolved with time. Already having a natural born artistic talent, the necessity to learn the trades of welding, metal working, and machining became apparent. Those skills were acquired slowly with a bit of practical experience, employment opportunities, and online resources. Starting out with a 9 inch Atlas Lathe and a 1950’s Series 1 Bridgeport, BSD officially opened up shop. The rest is history, and BSD was born.

BSD was going to be oriented around custom designs and ideas that clients wanted to create but didn’t know how to implement. A large part of this creative flexibility is owed to the versatility of an all-manual machine shop. At BSD, currently all their work is manually handcrafted and designed in close communication with our clients. Eventually as time progresses and the company expands, a fleet of CNC machines will be acquired to develop their most popular designs into mass production. This in-turn will save their clients’ money while offering the same great custom designs at a much lower cost.

BSD provides a wide variety of custom services quite unique to the firearms industry. As a full-service machine, welding and fabrication shop with a type 7 FFL and type 2 SOT, almost any custom idea is possible with their wide range of equipment and more importantly… skills. We love to design and create
new unique products for our clients that will stand out and most importantly function as required. Looking to the future, we plan on engineering and prototyping new operating systems for firearms, hopefully looking forward towards military/ government contracts.

The projects shown here are just a small fraction of the jobs they’ve completed in the past. Once a finalized design is agreed upon with the client, a quote is provided for the estimated cost of completion and shipping. Prospective clienteles are encouraged to inquire directly via email or through social media points of contacts.

Now how about we look at some of those recently completed custom jobs?
